Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams, position patients and equipment, and produce recordings for interpretation. The role requires RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT certification, graduation from an accredited program, and a current BCLS.

Proficiency with PACS and good computer skills are essential. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT certification required within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $40.54 to $52.89. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
