Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician for a PRN role. The technician will support OR and Cath Lab procedures, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain sterile environments under RN supervision. Strong attention to detail and calmness under pressure are required.

Responsibilities include instrument handling, patient prep, and collaboration across teams to provide safe, efficient surgical care. On-call availability may be required per departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Required skills include critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must work well under stress and take appropriate action.
• Willingness to participate in shared on-call and stand-by as needed by the department.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments in the OR; assist the surgical team.
• Transport to decontamination after procedures and ensure instrument availability.
• Maintain sterile field and counts for instruments, sponges, and needles.
• Assist with preparing patient skin and positioning for surgery.
• Support Cath Lab setup and assist during procedures as needed.
• Document patient assessments and care activities with RN oversight.
