Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care hospital in Sparks, NV, seeks a Cardiac/Cath Lab Tech to support cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes patient care, equipment safety, and high-quality imaging in the Cath Lab.

The candidate should have Radiologic Technology credentials, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 1 year of Cath Lab or radiology experience, with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT OR RCIS OR RCES certificate
• Current BLS
• ACLS within 6 Months
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology Special Procedures or Cath Lab preferred.
• Experience with scrubbing preferred.
• Ability to participate in on-call schedule on a regular basis for special procedures.

Responsibilities

• Care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards.
• Instructs and prepares patients for roentgen graphic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
• Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions; provides immobilization or support devices.
