Job summary

Lumera Healthcare Group in McKinney, TX seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technician to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, operate fluoroscopy equipment, and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology, radiology, or related field is required.
• RCIS or ARRT certification preferred.
• State license as required.
• BSL and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, monitor vitals, and ensure safety.
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure safety protocols.
• Document procedures, patient data, and equipment use accurately.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

• 1-2 years ofexperience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge ofcardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventionalprocedures.
• Excellent teamwork,communication, and problem-solving skills.
