Job summary

Qualifications

• CA CRT license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures using fixed equipment.
• Monitors patient and operates hemodynamic system for data acquisition.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of procedures performed.
• Demonstrates proficiency in sterile technique and ensures policy compliance.
• Selects images for acquisition and assists physicians in viewing images on PACS.
• Generates a preliminary cath report for reading physician.
• Ensures hemostasis of puncture site.
• Continues ongoing education and attends seminars and in-service programs.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Provides radiation safety according to standards.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
