Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA seeks a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to support invasive cardiovascular procedures. You will assist physicians, prepare equipment, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure sterile technique while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires CA CRT and BLS, with preferred experience in interventional cath labs. You will work in a dynamic team, adhere to radiation safety, and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.

Formación

• License /Certification Required: CA Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) BLS Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Experience Preferred: Cath Lab experience including Interventional Cath Lab.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the physician in various diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures with fixed equipment.
• Select proper technical factors and equipment programming per procedural requirements.
• Monitor patient and operate hemodynamic systems for data acquisition.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and related materials.
• Ensure sterile technique and compliance with hospital/department policy.
• Select images for acquisition and transmit to PACS; assist in viewing images.
• Generate a preliminary cath report containing descriptive and quantitative data.
• Assure hemostasis at puncture site with manual compression or vascular sealant.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
