Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. You will assist physicians with procedures, monitor patient status, operate imaging equipment, and ensure sterile technique throughout cases.

Requirements include an allied health degree, current ACLS, RCIS within six months, and ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS. This on-site role offers shift flexibility with 10-hour days and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Interprets basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs while monitoring patient status during procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician direction during cath lab procedures.
• Assists with transport and preparation of patients for cath lab procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and inventories supplies for the lab.
