Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. The role demands cath lab knowledge and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities include monitoring, scrubbing, circulating, operating imaging equipment, transporting patients, maintaining sterile technique, and preparing the lab and patient for procedures. ACLS, RCIS or ARRT/RT eligibility, and degree in science are required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire, or ARRT/ TX RT(R) in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assist physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures and operate physiologic recorder.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures; operate imaging equipment under physician direction.
• Monitor patient status, hand supplies, and assist with transport.
• Prep lab and patient for procedures, maintain sterile technique, and manage equipment troubleshooting.
