Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Cath Lab Technician for a 90-day contract in Newton, NJ. The role involves preparing and assisting in cardiac caths, PCI, and related procedures, with on-site duties and 4-day weeks from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities include monitoring hemodynamic data, providing procedural support before, during, and after procedures, and managing access sites per physician guidance. On-call STEMI coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cath Lab procedures such as cardiac caths, PCI, and peripheral vascular work.
• Ability to monitor and document hemodynamic data.
• Capable of assisting physicians before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI), peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Provide procedural assistance to the physician in pre, intra, and post-procedure settings.
• Assess and manage access sites, informing the physician as needed.
• Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab.
• Prepare patients for procedures adequately.
