Responsibilities include monitoring hemodynamics during procedures and retrieving imaging data for interpretation. The position requires on-call availability and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prepares and assists during cardiac catheterization procedures (e.g., stents, balloon angioplasty, valve replacements, EP procedures).
• Maintains patient comfort and answers questions about procedures.
• Documents patient, procedure and equipment data in the system.
• Monitors hemodynamics (ECG, BP, chest pain) during procedures.
• Retrieves imaging data and calculations for physician interpretation.
• Balances, calibrates and records hemodynamic data; intervenes in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Prepares procedure room and scrubs/assists MD during cardiac catheterization and interventions.
• Prepares and drapes patients and answers questions to alleviate concerns.
• Enters patient, procedure and equipment details in the system.
• Monitors patient hemodynamic status during procedure.
• Retrieves imaging and data for interpretation of results.
• Balances, calibrates and records hemodynamic data; intervenes in emergencies.
• Operates equipment safely per policy and standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
