Urgent Hiring - Pride Health Staffing - Cath Lab Tech - Medical facility in Newton, New Jersey

Join Pride Health as a Cath Lab Technologist at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. This is an urgent, 12-week contract position with a 4-day workweek, 9.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), offering a weekly gross pay of $2,994.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and assisting with cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitoring, documenting, and calculating hemodynamic data.
• Assisting physicians during pre-, intra-, and post-procedures.
• Managing vascular access sites and notifying physicians of issues.
• Adhering to STEMI on-call protocols.
• Preparing patients for procedures and demonstrating excellence in scrubbing and monitoring roles within the Cath Lab.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT).
• RCIS certification preferred.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP).
• Current Cath Lab experience (scrubbing and monitoring).
• High School Diploma or GED required.

On-Call Requirements: Rotational weekend and weekday STEMI on-call at Newton Medical Center.
