Job summary

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA is hiring a Special Procedures Tech for our Cath Lab, full time. This role performs scrub and radiographic duties for procedures including cardiac catheterizations and other invasive studies, under the direction of a cardiologist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic program (JRCRTE-accredited).
• Valid Louisiana State License.
• Previous cath lab experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed radiographic procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Operate radiographic and cath lab equipment under cardiologist supervision.
• Set up trays and scrub for Cath Lab cases and assist during invasive procedures.
• Prepare and transport patients to and from Cath Lab.
