Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is seeking a Cardiology Radiology Specialist I to educate patients and staff on radiology issues and support the cath lab. This role requires precise imaging, adherence to safety, and teamwork with the nursing and physician staff.

Responsibilities include operating cath lab equipment, producing quality radiographs, following sterile technique and safety policies, and participating in multidisciplinary patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Radiology Technology required.
• Current Louisiana Radiology license and ARRT registered required.
• BLS CPR certified required.
• ACLS certified required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve problems related to radiology equipment and patient care.
• Communicate abnormal variances to the nurse team.
• Maintain sterile technique for cath lab procedures.
• Follow radiation safety and hospital policies.
• Produce quality radiographs and operate cath lab equipment.
• Assist with all cath lab procedures as requested.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care.

Graduate of School of Radiology Technology

Louisiana Radiology license

ARRT registered

BLS CPR certified

ACLS certified
