Job summary

AdventHealth Minneola is seeking a Part-Time cardiovascular specialist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions, in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will respond to emergencies, administer treatments, verify orders with physicians, and maintain equipment and supplies.

Minimum 1 year healthcare experience; 2+ years in cardiac cath/EP/ICU or interventional radiology preferred;

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year healthcare experience required.
• 2+ years in cardiac cath/EP/neur/ICU or interventional radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and performs within the scope of practice for the position.
• Administers and evaluates effectiveness of treatments and medications according to policy and training.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.
