Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking a qualified cardiovascular professional to perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology. You will respond to clinical emergencies, document care, and maintain equipment while ensuring patient safety.

Requirements include ECG training, cardiovascular anatomy knowledge, hemodynamic monitoring, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation required.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy required.
• Hemodynamic monitoring knowledge required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Familiarity with health care industry concepts and policies.
• Ability to monitor blood pressure, ECG, and pulse oximetry with medical devices.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures including coronary, EP, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and follow department policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain and sterilize equipment and prepare supplies for procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and timely in medical records.
• Train and supervise new staff, assisting ongoing education and competency.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities.
