Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to support invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. The role requires hands-on knowledge of cath lab equipment and the ability to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular care during procedures.

Qualified RCIS graduates or those from nursing/respiratory/paramedic/imaging/exercise physiology programs are invited to apply; BCLS and ACLS are required, with RCIS certification to be obtained within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

RCIS program graduate or a graduate of nursing/respiratory/paramedic/imaging/exercise physiology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license required. If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BCLS and ACLS Required

Responsibilities

Assist the physician in invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Maintain thorough knowledge of Cath Lab/EP equipment and its maintenance.
