Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. You will prepare rooms, monitor patients, and contribute to quality initiatives while supporting training of staff.

The role requires RCIS/ARRT radiology credentials or equivalent, an associates/technical radiology degree, and 1 year cath lab experience. Full-time day shift with on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

• Registry: RCIS or ARRT Radiologic Technologist/Radiography credentials required.
• Education: Technical or Associate degree in Radiology; new grads welcomed.
• Experience: 1 year Cath Lab or 2 years Cath Lab experience.
• Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift, 7am–5:30pm with on-call every 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations and device implants.
• Maintain room readiness and equipment for cath/ EP lab procedures.
• Monitor patient status and provide routine and emergency care.
• Perform pre/post-procedure care and patient orientation.
• Audit quality data and participate in department quality initiatives.
• Support training of new staff and interns.
• Coordinate resources and inventory for procedure rooms.
