Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for the College Station catheterization lab. You will assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, prepare rooms, monitor patients, and contribute to staff training and quality initiatives.

The position requires on-call availability, knowledge of invasive cardiac procedures, and the ability to manage equipment and supplies in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or 2 years military training or 2 years cardiovascular lab experience.
• On-call availability as per policy.
• Knowledge of invasive cardiac and vascular procedures and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization and EP lab procedures.
• Prepare room and equipment; monitor patient condition.
• Educate patients and support staff during procedures.
• Conduct routine and quarterly quality control activities through audits and reporting.
• Maintain sterile fields and inventory for lab supplies.
• Coordinate and audit resources during inventories.
• Assist in training new staff and students.
