Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking an Associate Special Procedure Tech to support patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. You will assist physicians, provide direct care, and help ensure quality patient/family centered care.

The role involves IV starts, patient prep, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, documentation, and education. On-site availability within 30 minutes for cath lab IR calls is expected.

Qualifications

• Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).
• Associate degree or equivalent is required.
• Cath Lab/EP Lab candidates should have specialized cardiovascular tech training or related degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care pre, intra, and post for heart/vascular procedures under supervision.
• Assist physicians and deliver patient/family centered care.
• Perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, manage vascular access, and educate patients.
