Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital seeks an Associate Special Procedure Tech to support Heart and Vascular procedures under supervision. You will assist physicians, perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, manage vascular access, and educate patients and families.

This role requires ARRT in VI within 2 years, ACLS/BLS, and an associate degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Tech or related field, with on-site availability within 30 minutes

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).
• Associate degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Technology or related field; Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, or equivalent training/education.
• Clinical experience in Cath Lab/EP Lab or Interventional Radiology preferred.
• CRT-Vascular International Radiography (VI) ARRT required within 2 years.
• ACLS required within 180 days from hire; BLS required on hire.
• Strong communication, math, and customer service skills.
• On-site availability within 30 minutes for Cath Lab/IR call.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during Heart and/or Vascular procedures.
• Perform IV starts and patient prep.
• Monitor hemodynamics and operate equipment.
• Document procedures and manage vascular access sites.
• Provide patient and family education.
