Texas Health Resources in Denton, TX is seeking a Cath Lab Special Procedures Tech for the Interventional Radiology Cath Lab. This full-time day-shift role offers a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and a team-based environment with strong benefits.

The selected candidate will have an associate degree in cardiovascular technology, ARRT and RCIS certifications or eligibility, and experience in invasive cardiology and vascular/cardiac angiography.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in invasive cardiology preferred.
• Angiography experience in vascular or cardiac procedures.

Qualifications - External

• Associate's degree Applied Science
• Required or other completion of accredited program in cardiovascular technology
• Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire
• Required or H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology
• Required or 1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography
• Prefer 2 Years required with high school diploma

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req
• GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire Req
• LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire Req
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req
