Job summary

Surgery Partners in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide specialized nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the ASC setting. The RN supports pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care while upholding CMS ASC standards, infection control, and patient safety.

Requirements include an active RN license (PA or multi-state), 1–2 years of critical care or cath lab experience, BLS and ACLS, with moderate sedation training preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (PA or Multi-state)
• 1–2 years critical care or cath lab experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Moderate sedation training preferred

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure nursing assessments including history, meds, allergies and renal function.
• Intra-procedure support: circulate/monitor and maintain sterile technique.
• Document medications, contrast volume and events in real time.
• Post-procedure recovery in PACU with vitals, site checks and discharge teaching.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with cardiology and anesthesia teams.
