Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) in Philadelphia, PA. The RN provides specialized nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the ASC setting, across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases, while ensuring CMS ASC guidelines, infection control, and patient safety.

Applicants must hold an active PA or multi-state RN license, have 1–2 years in critical care or cath lab, and possess BLS and ACLS; sedation training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or multi-state.
• 1–2 years critical care or cath lab experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Moderate sedation training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure: Perform nursing assessments, review medications, verify informed consent, initiate IV access, educate patients and families on procedures and post-care.
• Intra-Procedure: Circulate/monitor during diagnostic cardiac caths, PCI, and related interventions; monitor hemodynamics; document events; assist with sterile technique and emergency readiness.
• Post-Procedure: Recover patients in PACU, assess access site, monitor distal pulses, wound care, and provide post-care instructions.
