Phelps Health in Missouri is seeking a dedicated PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, demonstrating clinical competence relevant to the area of nursing practice, and adhering to the ANA Code of Ethics.

The role includes executing assessments, administering medications, documenting care, and collaborating with physicians to ensure safety and quality outcomes. A BSN is preferred; current MO RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
• One year health care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Follows established hospital policy regarding patient safety measures such as infection prevention and safe handling to ensure optimal safety.
• Provides quality nursing care including administration of medications and nursing interventions.
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status and inform the health care team.
• Documents all patient care activities and quality monitoring items to support compliance with core measures.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes and patient experience.
• Delegates tasks to team members while maintaining teamwork and accountability.
• Performs delegated tasks to maintain quality and patient safety.
