Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Georgia to provide direct patient care and supervise RNs, LPNs, and support staff under the state nurse practice act. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes to ensure quality care.

Current Georgia RN license or multistate license and CPR are required, with ACLS/NRP/PALS and BLS timelines defined by unit policy. Minimum one year of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related nursing experience.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for ED/ICU/Surgery-related units.
• PALS within one year of hire in PACU.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Nursing Clinical Ladder policy as designated

Responsibilities

• The RN performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in nursing care per state nurse practice act.
• The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates care effectiveness.
