Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV, is seeking a Per Diem Pre/Post Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular lab. You will assist with procedures, monitor patients, and ensure equipment readiness while communicating with physicians and team members.

Requirements include NV RN license, BLS/ACLS, and acute care experience; cath lab experience and on-call willingness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada RN license in good standing.
• POC license due within 6 months of hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience; telemetry experience preferred.
• Cath Lab experience preferred; willingness to standby/on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab and monitor patient status during procedures.
• Assist with equipment, supplies, and room readiness; communicate with physicians and team.
• Support CQI activities and ensure safe sedation under physician guidance.
