Rutherford Regional Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to join a specialized cardiovascular team. This Monday–Friday position supports diagnostic catheterizations and PCI, with no on-call requirements.

The RN will circulate, scrub, and monitor during procedures and collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and technicians. Applicants should hold an NC nursing license, possess an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), and have 1–3 years Cath Lab

Qualifikationen

• Current RN license to practice in NC (or multi-state license)
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• 1–3 years Cath Lab experience required
• Must scrub, circulate, and monitor Cath Lab procedures
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and ability to handle stress in emergencies

Aufgaben

• Performs all Cath Lab patient care with emphasis on safety and accuracy.
• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments including hemodynamic monitoring.
• Formulates and revises care plans based on patient responses.
• Assists with diagnostic catheterization, PCI, device implantation, and vascular procedures.
• Administers medications, monitors sedation, and responds to patient needs during procedures.
• Documents care accurately and communicates with care team and family.
• Collaborates across disciplines for transfer, discharge, and education.
