Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role supports diagnostic catheterizations and interventional PCI, including coronary stent placement, to help reduce heart attack risk. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with no on-call requirements.

You will circulate, scrub, and monitor during procedures and collaborate with physicians, RNs, and techs in a fast-paced cardiovascular team environment.

Qualifications

• NC RN license to practice in NC (or multi-state).
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years Cath Lab experience; comfortable scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of Cardiac Cath Lab patient care with safety as priority.
• Conducts hemodynamic monitoring and pre-/post-procedure assessments.
• Forms and revises individualized care plans; evaluates effectiveness daily.
• Assists with diagnostic catheterization, PCI, device implantation support, and STEMI response.
