Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab to join a specialized cardiovascular team. The role involves circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures, including PCI, with no call requirements on a Monday–Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of cath lab experience, NC RN licensure (or compact license), and BLS/ACLS certification. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state license)
• 1-3 years Cath Lab experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred

Responsibilities

• Circulate, scrub, and monitor during Cath Lab procedures and interventional PCI
• Assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Provide patient care, assessments, and post-procedure care in the Cath Lab
• Coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team and education for patients/families
