Job summary

Lifepoint Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab in Rutherford Regional Health System. You'll circulate, scrub, and monitor during diagnostic catheterizations and PCI procedures in a dedicated cardiovascular team.

The role requires an NC RN license, an Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), and 1–3 years Cath Lab experience with proficiency in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring. Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities.

Qualifications

Active RN license to practice in NC (NC or multi-state).
Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
1-3 years of Cath Lab experience; comfortable scrubbing, circulating, monitoring.

Responsibilities

Performs all Cath Lab patient care with emphasis on safety and reducing error risk.
Conducts initial and ongoing assessments, including hemodynamic monitoring and pre-/post-procedure evals.
Develops and revises care plans based on patient response; evaluates effectiveness daily.
Assists with all Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic catheterization and PCI.
Administers meds, monitors sedation, and manages patient response during procedures.
Documents nursing care timely and accurately; communicates patient status to care team.
Collaborates across disciplines for transfer, discharge, and education needs.
Provides patient/family education related to procedures, recovery, meds, and follow-up.
