Qualifications

• A current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses with Idaho endorsement within 60 days of hire if relocating from another compact state.
• Basic Life Support certification required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu).
• Other certifications may be required as identified in SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients across Neonate to Geriatric age groups as applicable.
• Documents services and supplies accurately for revenue management.
• Complies with hospital safety policies and procedures.
• Performs comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.

• Develops, implements, and evaluates care plans.
• Communicates patient status and plans to other caregivers both verbally and in writing.
• Prepares, administers, and evaluates medications.
• Operates patient care equipment safely.
• Advocates for patient rights and provides pain relief nursing measures.
• Demonstrates therapeutic communication and professional boundaries.
• Integrates knowledge with hospital policies
• Meets unit-specific technical skills and follows Idaho State Board of Nursing rules.
