Job summary

Saint Alphonsus in Boise, Idaho seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab - Invasive Prep/Recovery. The RN will provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team, perform assessments, plan and deliver care, and advocate for patients and families.

The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts with one late night per week. A current Idaho RN license and BLS are required; multistate licensure by endorsement may apply for moving nurses.

Qualifications

• Active RN license issued in Idaho is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
• Multistate licensure and endorsement processes may apply for moves to Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and family education.
• Document nursing services accurately and advocate for patient rights.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Maintain safety and comfort of patients across cath lab invasive prep/recovery.
