Job summary

Qualifications

• RN degree and licensure required
• ABH/ACLS/BCLS certifications preferred
• Experience in hospital/nursing environment desired

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care using the Nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administers medications, including controlled substances, and manages IV therapy
• Supervises and supports staff, preceptors, and nursing students as assigned
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to infection control and safety standards
• Communicates effectively with physicians, patients and families and documents thoroughly
