Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an experienced RN to join the Cardiac Catheter Lab team. You will provide direct patient care to adults in the cath lab, administer meds, and document procedures.

The role may involve scrub responsibilities as needed and requires collaboration with physicians to monitor patient status. Qualifications include ACLS and BLS certifications and RN licensure or a registered nurse degree (Diploma/ASN/ADN).

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care to the adult patient population in the cardiovascular lab.
• Administers medications and performs procedural documentation for all procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
• May acquire abilities for the scrub position as needed.
• Assists with psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with physicians continuously about patient condition.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.

Education

RN license or Registered Nurse Diploma/Associate Degree

ACLS Certification

BLS Certification
