Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks an experienced RN for the Cath Lab at Centerpoint Medical Center in Missouri. You will provide direct adult patient care in the cardiovascular lab, administer medications, and document procedures for all lab cases.

The RN may assist as a scrub for procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and effective teamwork. The role requires RN licensure with Diploma or Associate Degree, ACLS within 1 year, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• BLS certification required for basic life support.
• RN registered nurse license is required.
• Education: RN Diploma or Associate Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adult patients in the cardiovascular lab.
• Administer medications and document procedures for all lab procedures.
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition during cases.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory in the lab.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct patient care to the adult patient population. Administers medications and performs procedural documentation for allprocedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. The RN may acquire abilities for the scrub position (as needed). Addresses thepsychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuouslyand as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room forequipment functioning and readiness.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
