Job summary

SCA Health in Wayne, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Cath Lab to join our expansive team. You will provide direct patient care during catheterization procedures and recovery phases, ensuring safety and guideline adherence.

You will scrub, circulate, and assist with aseptic techniques, monitor EKG and hemodynamics, and support a multidisciplinary care team across CVL and related cardiac services. ACLS is preferred and must be obtained within 90 days where required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license and BLS; ACLS preferred within 90 days of hire.
• 5+ years catheterization lab, ED, or PACU experience required.
• Proficient in interpreting EKG and hemodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ensure patient safety.
• Directs and assists in aseptic & sterile techniques and procedures.
• Perform CVL circulator and recovery RN tasks.
• Prepare Cath Lab room for patient and procedure.
• Assist in transporting patient to Cath Lab and review pre-op records.
• Verify appropriate surgical prep is completed.
• Complete CVL documentation and medication orders.
• Position patient safely and assist with counts.
• Provide support to teammates, physicians and families.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Promote safe patient care through good communication.
