Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab in Plano, TX. The role requires nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred, and a minimum of 5 years in cath lab, ED, or PACU. You will scrub, circulate, and monitor various cath lab procedures while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 90 days)
• Minimum 5 years of continuous cath lab, ED, or PACU experience
• Proficient in EKG and hemodynamic tracing interpretation
• Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate on cath lab procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ensure patient safety
• Direct and assist in aseptic techniques and procedures
• Perform as CVL circulator and recovery RN
• Prepare cath lab room for patient and procedure
• Transport patient to cath lab and verify pre-op records
• Complete documentation for CVL and patient chart
• Ensure safe patient positioning and instrument counts
• Secure emergency equipment and supplies as needed
• Support teammates, physicians, and patient families
• Perform related duties as assigned
• Show strong communication to promote safe care
