Job summary

SCA Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab. The primary duties include direct patient care, supporting sterile technique, and circulating on cath lab procedures, including pacemaker, vascular, and cardiac cases.

Strong communication and critical-care skills are essential. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, BLS; ACLS preferred with a 90-day deadline to obtain if needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse with current state licensure and current BLS; ACLS preferred (to be obtained within 90 days).
• Minimum 5 years of catheterization lab, ED, or PACU experience; prior critical care preferred.
• Able to monitor, scrub, and/or circulate on cath lab procedures; interpret EKG and hemodynamic tracings.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in aseptic techniques and procedures.
• Perform CVL circulator duties and post-procedure recovery tasks.
• Prepare Cath Lab room and assist with patient transport and prep.
• Document CVL records, medications, and physician orders.
