Responsabilités

• Assess patient conditions and anticipate needs for surgical patients across the perioperative continuum.
• Provide direct patient care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.
• Uphold professional standards, policies, and opportunities for growth.
• Respond professionally to patients, families, and team members to ensure patient-centered care.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, universal protocol, and patient identification procedures.
• Know procedures and equipment relevant to surgical patients and adapt care to anesthesia type.
• Prioritize patient care and coordinate with the perioperative team as health status changes.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-operative instructions.
• Support completion of patient testing and review pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness.
