Qualifications

• RN licensed with current license.
• 2 years critical care experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment skills spanning pediatric to geriatric populations with thorough, accurate assessments.
• Clinical Skills: provide direct patient care and supportive nursing care.
• Documentation: maintain complete, accurate documentation of care and patient progress.
• Professionalism: adhere to policies and pursue clinical and professional growth.
• Patient Satisfaction: respond professionally to patients and families to ensure patient-centered care.
• Safety: follow National Patient Safety Goals and use 2 patient identifiers.
• Unit Specific: tailor care for surgical patients across anesthesia types.
• Responsibility: participate in perioperative team and prioritize patient needs.
• Patient Education and Chart Completion: educate patients and families and complete pre/postop assessments.
• Duties Specific to PAT RN: support completion of PAT orders and preadmission testing appropriateness.
