Equiliem Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN for operating room perioperative support in Elizabeth, NJ. The role focuses on assessing patients, delivering direct care, and ensuring accurate documentation across the perioperative continuum.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 2+ years of critical care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a commitment to patient safety and education within a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years critical care experience (required).
• RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment skills: Has competent knowledge of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric.
• Clinical Skills: Provides direct patient care and supports the care team.
• Documentation: Maintains complete and accurate documentation per guidelines.
• Professionalism: Demonstrates professional practice and growth.
• Patient Satisfaction: Responds professionally to patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.
• Safety: Follows National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocol.
• Unit Specific Job Function: Knowledge of surgical patients and anesthesia continuum and care.
• Responsibility and Accountability: Directs patient care based on needs and changes in condition.
• Patient Education and Chart Completion: Educates patients and completes pre/postoperative education and charting.
• Duties Specific to PAT RN: Supports pre-admission testing orders for accuracy and completeness.
