Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing the lab, reviewing records, monitoring patients, maintaining sterile field, assisting with procedures, emergency interventions, and discharge planning; requires Rhode Island RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 3 years of critical care or cath lab experience.

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and cardiovascular procedures.
• Set up lab and ensure equipment and supplies are available.
• Review patient records and monitor vital signs pre-, during, and post-procedure.
• Maintain sterile field and monitor patient status; assist with medications and contrast administration.
• Document proceedings and discharge planning; communicate patient status to receiving unit.
• Participate in emergency procedures including CPR and airway management.
