Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to circulate and monitor lab cases, supporting interventional cardiology and radiology procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice (or compact license).
• BLS certification is required for this role.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred, especially in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care within the Cath Lab context.
• Implement and coordinate the plan of care during procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, and families to ensure safe care.
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement and education within the unit.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to other staff as applicable.
