Job summary

Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cath Lab team on a full-time days schedule. You will provide direct patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, preparing patients, assisting physicians, and monitoring recovery.

The role requires NC RN licensure (or compact), ASN/BSN, BLS and ACLS certification, and relevant Cath Lab/ICU/CCU/ED experience. Reports to the Cath Lab Department leadership.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
• Three years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, or Emergency Department preferred
• Active North Carolina RN license (single state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Utilize specialized clinical expertise to prepare patients, assist physicians during procedures, and provide post-procedure monitoring and recovery.
• Serve as a patient-care innovator, incorporating latest technology, imaging techniques, and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient safety, comfort, and outcomes.
• Manage complex cases with precision, hemodynamic monitoring, and administration of conscious sedation.
