Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time role includes circulating cardiac and peripheral procedures, admission and recovery of patients, and participation in the Cardiac Cath Lab Academy and precepting.

On-call requirements include nights, holidays, and weekends, with live within 30 minutes of the facility. Applicants must hold a current RN license and BLS; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or compact license).
• BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; relevant clinical experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, and educational needs and plan care.
• Implement and coordinate the plan of care with the healthcare team.
• Document assessments, plans, and outcomes in the patient record.
• Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab following physician orders and policy.
