Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure or Compact state licensure.
• Experience in cardiac, critical care, or surgical nursing highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and organize appropriate care.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor for life-threatening events.
• Act as charge nurse when assigned and collaborate with the health system staff.
• Maintain competencies and participate in cost containment.
