Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Cath Lab RN to plan, coordinate and implement care for adult patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will contribute to safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate competencies appropriate to the unit.

Responsibilities include working as circulator/scrub/monitor on the Cath Lab team, prepping patients in holding, and collaborating with physicians to ensure timely information, meds administration, and patient education.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing with applicable state board.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; cath lab, ICU, or ED preferred.
• Ability to respond to a 30-minute call time or less.

Responsibilities

• Performs on the Cath Lab procedure team as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
• Preps patient in holding and ensures history and physical are available.
• Analyzes patient status, administers medications, and communicates with physician.
