Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab in Illinois to provide skilled nursing care during cardiovascular procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, peripheral interventions, and device implants. The role involves administering moderate sedation, continuous patient monitoring, and assisting with lab setup and breakdown.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license with at least 2 years in a Cath Lab or cardiovascular nursing setting, and demonstrates

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois.
Minimum 2 years experience in Cath Lab or cardiovascular nursing.
Proficiency with moderate sedation and monitoring during invasive procedures.
Strong clinical assessment and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Administer moderate sedation to patients undergoing catheterization and interventional procedures.
Monitor patients continuously during procedures and respond to changes in condition.
Assist with setup and breakdown of the cath lab before and after procedures.
Support the interventional cardiology team during various cardiovascular procedures (left/right heart cath, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, AAAs, TAVR, device implants).
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high‑quality patient care.
Document patient care activities and procedural details accurately and timely.
