Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks an experienced cath lab nurse to support physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will coordinate daily schedules, participate as a working technologist as needed, and assist the department manager with clinical and supervisory duties.

The role requires a nursing license in Alabama, a high school diploma or GED with nursing school credentials, and 5 years in a cath lab setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• License: Alabama nursing license required. BLS/ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: 5 years in diagnostic/interventional cath lab. Supervisory scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Coordinate daily scheduled activities involving clinical decisions and physician/staff interactions.
• Serve as a working technologist as needed.
• Assist department manager with clinical and supervisory duties.
