Huntsville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support procedures and patient care in the heart and vascular team. Responsibilities include IV placement, chart review for consents and labs, and post-procedure monitoring, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with technologists and nurse teams to achieve hospital goals and provide effective cardiovascular care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: vocational nursing or radiologic technology program completed.
• Experience: none required; 1 year in Cardiac/Peripheral Interventions, Radiology, or related area preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Texas Radiology Technologist license; LVN with RCIS considered; BLS within 60 days; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures (IV placement, blood collection, site prep).
• Review charts to confirm consents and labs are in place.
• Assist in procedures and monitor patients post-procedure (vital signs, site management, telemetry).
• Collaborate with heart and vascular team to deliver high-quality care and meet hospital goals.
